„Compliance requirements have increased significantly without sufficient funding. Most of the services we provide are not risky, but we must meet a large number of legal and other requirements due to the diversity of services we provide. „During this audit, we assessed whether DHHS has sufficient expertise in managing service agreements to ensure that funded organizations provide customers with agreed health and wellness support and outcomes. Combined with the wide geographical dispersion of service agreement staff, these problems have contributed to preventing staff from realizing their roles and the extent of their responsibilities.
